How safe is it to eat at restaurants who have employees who are politically left-leaning?

From my experience when you’re dining at a restaurant and someone recognizes you for whatever reason for example: you’re dining with someone who is known because of their affiliation or relationship with someone.
Your waitress knows who they are, sees you with them, you pay for the diner and the waitress damages your card so that it doesn’t swipe.

You don’t realize what she did, however you added a $10 tip that she wasn’t aware of.
Her coworker realizes what she did and refunds you the $10 tip you left 🙄 😒
